A little late but hopefully worth the wait, here is my piece for the new show about to go up at Floating World Comics on the 16th of September Battles Without Honor And Humanity. More info can be found HERE as well as the totally killer (pun intended) list of contributors. Many thanks to the generous Sloane Leong for curating the show as well as patiently waiting for my three day late piece.  

I think I’m getting closer and closer to a mix of analog and digital that I’m happy with. I’ve figured out that if I can finish a piece in Photoshop within the time it takes me to listen to a single album (like 45-60 minutes), I am a much happier person in the end.

So mathematically speaking, this ending up being 85% gouache+colored pencil and like 15% photoshop tom-foolery
